How to Import live Orchids Plant and Seed from Thailand?
- Obtain the necessary permits: If you are importing orchids from another country, you may need to obtain permits from your country’s agricultural agency or customs office. Check with your local authorities to ensure that you have all the necessary permits and paperwork before importing.
- Choose a healthy plant or seeds: Look for orchids that are free from pests and diseases. If you are importing seeds, make sure they are fresh and viable.
- Prepare the growing medium: Orchids need a well-draining growing medium that allows air to circulate around the roots. You can use a commercial orchid mix or make your own using a combination of bark, perlite, coconut husk and sphagnum moss.
